Meet the Empire
Training Department

The Training Department at Empire is comprised of three Trainers,  Bradly Cade, Darreck Stephenson, and Michael Wooley.  The three share great technical knowledge and have experience on the floor as technicians, as well.  The Empire Trainers understand how technicians learn and strive to increase “hands-on” lessons.  Our Trainers realize that you never stop learning and you will not know everything. Therefore, the classes are structured to promote critical thinking for each member of the class. In addition to offering scheduled courses on key topics, we also teach private training sessions for your group, conference, or event. Darreck Stephenson

Darreck Stephenson is a former technician with almost 15 years of experience on the shop floor.  He attended and graduated U.T.I. with a certificate in Automotive and Diesel Technology.  After graduating, Darreck serviced diesel engines for a pile driving company and then acquired a position at Stoop’s Freightliner.  After a couple of years there, he was compelled to make a life change.  Therefore, after moving to Mobile, AL, he started working for Empire Truck Sales.  Darreck was given great opportunities to work into more advances areas of the field.  Shortly after being with Empire, he began rebuilding engines and troubleshooting difficult electrical problems.  One of his biggest advantages is having experience on the shop floor through all the major changes of the vehicles and engines from the last 15 years.  This is his first year as a trainer but it has come naturally, due to being a mentor to numerous young technicians.  He strives to be the best trainer possible and enjoy finding new ways to present material and to make his classes more engaging.

Bradly Cade

Bradly Cade began his career with Empire Truck Sales in 1990. He started out as a technician and enjoyed his career as a technician for twenty-one years. After serving as a technician, he was promoted to Service Manager at two separate locations. Bradly was later approached about being a certified DTNA Dealer Trainer. It is his passion to help train and teach technicians in becoming more efficient in their day to day tasks.

Michael Wooley

Michael Wooley grew up un the trucking industry and joined Empire Truck Sales in 2015 in the parts department.  For years, Michael was a back counter parts salesman for Empire Truck Sales. In 2021, he moved to the training department to expand our training department to also include parts taining. He enjoys making training videos in his spare time.
